Occupational Diseases Fund
As of January 1st 2010 all pregnant employees who are removed from their work place by an occupational physician due to prophylactic leave will receive 78,237 % of their average daily wage.This modification is of importance to pregnant employees who work in the private sector and who in the past did not qualify for compensation from the Occupational Diseases Fund (FBZ-FMP) during their removal from the work place.
Until the 31st of December, 2009 these employees will receive 60% of their (limited) gross income.
