Screen work: special glasses
When is an employee obliged to wear special glasses for working with screens?
Any employee who regularly uses appliances with screens shall be subjected to a previous health assessment and a periodic health assessment whereby specific attention must be paid to the eyesight. If these tests indicate that the employee is in need of special glasses, the employer can be demanded to supply them.
Who will pay for the special glasses for screen work?
If an examination indicates that special correction glasses are needed, any expenses therefor are on the account of the employer.
