Where can employees apply for training cheques?
Are employers entitled to any grants for employee training.
Employers may apply for subsidies or financial benefits from the Flemish Region (1) and from certain training organisations in the sector (2).
(1) IDEWE and IBEVE are ISO certified service providers acknowledged by the Flemish authorities for the system of the electronic enterprise portfolio. This is the successor of the training cheques for enterprises and the advice cheques. For any information, registration and to apply for a subsidy via BEA (Budget for Economic Advice), customers can surf to www.beaweb.be. The IDEWE and IBEVE registration numbers can be found on www.idewe.be.
(2) Some of the IDEWE and IBEVE training have been acknowledged by training organisations of the sector, such as the FVB (Funds for Professional Training in the Construction Industry; www.fvb.be) and the IPV (Initiatives for Professional Training in the Food Industry; www.ipv.be). Customers belonging to these sectors, may contact the aforementioned organisations and apply for a financial compensation.
Where can employees apply for training cheques?
Employees may apply for training cheques at VDAB and pay their training completely or partially with these cheques.
Employees too can call upon IDEWE and IBEVE for individual training and may use the VDAB training cheques (www.vdab.be/opleidingscheques).
