The IDEWE Group consists of two complementary organisations:
- IDEWE vzw is the largest external service provider for prevention and protection in the workplace in Belgium, active across the country. Our services extend well beyond occupational health and encompass safety, ergonomics, psychosocial support, environmental consultancy, hygiene and more.
- IBEVE vzw, our specialised sister company, focuses on areas beyond the legal framework of external services such as safety coordination, energy management, industrial hygiene and environmental management.

Join the IDEWE Group
Want to become an IDEWE customer? We will visit your company to ascertain the risks within your organisation. We will then be able to engage the appropriate prevention advisor or expert.
You will have a permanent prevention team that will keep in touch and visit you on a regular basis.
Our experts are on standby in urgent situations – such as a serious accident at work. This also applies to ad-hoc consultations and follow-up examinations after an illness.

Our strategic plan
The IDEWE Group draws up a strategic plan every four years to help us set clear priorities. IDEWE is also facing many societal challenges, such as the tightness of the labour market and the shift towards hybrid working. Our strategic plan allows us to address these challenges in the short and long term.
Our mission statement
Before we develop a strategic plan, we always go back to our core. The IDEWE Group is a value-driven organisation. We want to improve people’s quality of life through their work. Our strategic plan therefore has the following mission:

The coronavirus pandemic made it clear to us that there is a huge need for more digital services. That’s why we are fully committed to our digital transformation. The benefits?

Our strategic plan also enables us to make decisions faster. We provide our assistance and expertise based on the current needs and requirements. That’s why in autumn 2021, we decided to postpone our routine and targeted medical examinations temporarily in order to focus on contact tracing during the fourth wave of the coronavirus pandemic.

We incorporate digital advancements into our services to make them more user-friendly for our customers. Automating our processes gives our employees more time for human interaction. This allows our staff to build a personal connection, facilitated by digital follow-up and support, and truly make a difference.

We want to be attractive to our current and future employees. It is only through expertise, passion and entrepreneurial spirit at every level that we can continue to meet our customers' needs. By prioritising the wellbeing of our employees and establishing a strong employer brand, we will become the most attractive employer in prevention.

Did you know that our quality management system meets the ISO 9001:2015 requirements in full? It is your guarantee of the highest quality, and it makes sure we are alert to your needs.
In order to guarantee the best service, we define our working methods in clear procedures in certain cases. We involve our employees as much as possible, with every IDEWE employee taking ownership of all procedures, information and working documents that apply to them.
EcoVadis
In 2025, the IDEWE Group received a bronze medal from EcoVadis, a globally recognised organisation that assesses companies on their sustainability performance. This recognition underlines the IDEWE Group’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and focuses not only on the environment, but also on sustainable relationships with customers, employees and partners. The EcoVadis assessment looks at themes such as environmental impact, living conditions at work, ethics and sustainable procurement policies, and proves that we are taking steps towards a more sustainable future in all these areas.
Customer satisfaction
The best measure of our performance is your satisfaction.
We therefore monitor it on a continual basis, and consider your costs as well as your benefits. After all, a healthy workforce is invaluable. It ensures your employees are productive and happy – and it also benefits your organisation in the long term.
There are no clear parameters for measuring individual wellbeing. That’s why we make every effort to log, resolve and prevent complaints, whether they come from you or your employees.

We consider it of vital importance that your company and personal data (including your employees’ data) is treated with the utmost discretion.
That’s why we follow European, national and regional legislation to the letter:

- Privacy Protection Act.

IDEWE vzw and IBEVE vzw are both non-profit organisations.
Nevertheless, we keep a close eye on our financial situation. Because larger margins allow for investments and ensure our continued existence.
