RAPSi: The smart psychosocial risk assessment
Want to learn how to improve psychosocial wellbeing at your organisation? RAPSi, IDEWE and KU Leuven’s science-based tool, allows for clear, reliable identification of your psychosocial risks and resources – laying the groundwork for a truly effective wellbeing policy.
What is RAPSi?
IDEWE designed the RAPSi tool together with KU Leuven. This tool consists of a questionnaire you can use to carry out a psychosocial risk assessment. It is an anonymous survey of all your employees.
Benefits of the RAPSi:
- Benchmarking – Compare your results to those of reference groups.
- Concise reporting – Graphs and tables reveal bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
- Focus on action – IDEWE can help you convert the results into a targeted action plan.
What does a RAPSi survey involve?
We use the RAPSi to support your organisation in six stages.
Introduction
You discuss your wishes with your prevention advisor on psychosocial aspects.
- Will your employees receive an online or physical questionnaire? Would you like to break down the results by position, department or age?
- Will you be supplementing the standard list with additional questions, such as the modules on ‘leadership style’, ‘change in the workplace’ or ‘absenteeism’?
- Do you want to give your employees the opportunity to view personal individual feedback immediately after the online survey?
Preparation
You can trust IDEWE’s research department to handle all the practical details of the RAPSi. Your questionnaire will not be finalised until you give your approval.
Launch
Your employees fill in the questionnaire. They are given two to four weeks to do so. With each reminder, response increases, and the more completed questionnaires there are, the better your insights will be.
Processing
Researchers examine your aggregated results. They compare your figures to the Flemish, Walloon or Belgian benchmarks. Good to know: the confidentiality of your data is assured at all times.
Reporting
You review the group results and findings. A comprehensive report and explanatory presentation use figures, text and graphs to reveal your strengths and challenges. Your prevention advisor or a researcher will also go over the results with you in person.
Follow-up
For the RAPSi to lead to better wellbeing, you need to combine it with targeted action. Our prevention advisors are happy to help.
